    The little things
    2010-03-13 00:00:00
Well being an Orc myself (and coming from a pvp server), my opinion may not matter to much to you, but I'll give my say anyway.
    Draenei
    - +5 JC
    - Gift of the Naaru: Healing over time
    - +1 to hit with spells or attacks (dependant on class)
    - +10 Shadow Resist
I personally would love to have my own HoT. It would definately decrease downtime and save me on a few bandages. I think lvling would be just a little faster because of this ability. Not to mention if you want a Jewelcrafter this would be the perfect pick, since they already start with +5.
    Night Elf
    - Shadowmeld: Able to stealth when out of combat
    - +1 Dodge
    - Move faster while trying to reach your corpse
    - +10 Nature Resist
I personally think there are to many Night Elf's in the world. Before the patch that changed the Shadowmelding Aimed shot, they were definately the pick of the liter between Night Elf and Dwarf. I wouldn't mind Shadowmeld myself, but wh...
I got hunter jumped over the weekend
    2010-03-12 00:00:00
    Heh,
Yeah I have done that before on my rogue.
My Wife on her mage and kept taunting hordies nearby, and none of them were doing anything. Finally we came across one that was 5 levels higher than her, she taunted, he acepted, and I ambushed hit for a 1 shot kill. God I loved that, the fun part though was trying to get out of the mess we had created, cause he then called in some high level friends that started beating the living snot out of us as soon as they found us (by this time we had camp killed his body about 4 times).-Wheels

    Avoidance and Cobra Reflexes?
    2010-03-11 00:00:00
I use Cobra Reflexes if for no other reason than having max talents in Frenzy, with the idea that more hits = more chances to crit = damage bonus from Frenzy coming into play more often.
As far as avoidance, I haven't really had much experience in a raid environment where AoEs are such a common thing that I'd invest the training points to mitigate the damage. As it is, I've got another 100k xp or so before my pet hits level 70 and then I get to take a look at my final pool of training points and decide where I want them to go for solo play/instances.
Pets are cheap to respec, so I think if I knew I was heading in...
to know what prof to go with
    2010-03-10 00:00:00
ut at some point the game is about fun. right? . I don't want this game to be a job.
Professions while like a job are meant to be fun. I just can't see making a ton of cash, and a profession at 70. Doesn't seem right to me. I don't RP, I'm on a normal server. But at some point a little realism (fantasy realism lol) does come into play for me.
I like the satisfaction of working a profession up from the roots. Doing it without massive amounts of cash (though I have had other chars make things for my enchanter to speed things along).
In most cases I try to avoid buying supplies, and gather everything. Though for my warlock tailor I just wasn't getting enough cloth and had to buy some from the ah.
There's only so much farming I can do. Though now my leatherworking on my hunter is so high, I'm going to have to farm to max it at 375 . As I'm still saving money for epic ...

    what about Pre-ZA?
    2010-03-05 00:00:00
As the title states, I'm hoping to get some input here. My guild is currently starting a Team 2 Kara (first team has got it mostly down, though we seem to have trouble on Netherspite because of a lack of coordination and occasionally prince). Someone suggested that we do ZA today, and while we couldn't get a group going... the idea is interesting.
I suppose what I'm wondering is, will I meet the minimums to carry my own weight in ZA? I usually keep up fairly well ...
    ammo
    2010-03-04 00:00:00
I created an engineer just because of the fact they make better ammo and the other bonus of being able to make better guns and of course the sights for +damage than you will probably find either by drops or at auction , some say engineering is a huge waste of gold but i am not so sure , at level 30 on my alt she has a nice little robot pet that is level 35 so great for killing mobs with my normal pet , and the guns and some other things sell well as she has 130g in her coffers ,and of course the bullets are just a bonus from the mining of the ore .
as has been already said the vendors should have the highest arrows/shot you can use but in truth it makes only a small amount of difference , having the best gun/bow or crossbow helps but that also is not that important as i have one alt i decided to try to level and is now 36 w...
